In this world of information overload, we believe the right information should be delivered just in time, just enough, and just for you. It’s no longer just about what to know and who to know. It’s about how to know.
Unique World is excited by the way knowledge management is transforming businesses and delivering significant performance benefits.
The Knowledge Council is a series of regular peer-to-peer forums hosted by Unique World in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
They provide an opportunity for knowledge managers to share their views, challenges, and opportunities with colleagues in other organisations facing similar issues.
In a relaxed atmosphere, they hear from other professionals who are embracing a culture of knowledge and information management in their organisations – their challenges and successes!
With just a very small group of key invitees, the Knowledge Council meetings have generated some fascinating discussion.
Feedback from attendees:
- Creation of a Knowledge Council is a fantastic idea. Peer-to-peer discussions are critical and foster a community of thought leadership (Sydney, October 2010)
- Great to hear thoughts and challenges of others (Melbourne, April 2011)
- Excellent mix of attendees – informal/collaborative (June 2011)
Knowledge Council Group on
Complimenting the lunch-time forums, a LinkedIn group (Knowledge Council) has been created to give participants an opportunity to continue their discussions online. In this closed group, members are encouraged to contribute to an open and wide-ranging discussion about any issue of interest or concern in their knowledge management role.
Unique World welcome enquiries from knowledge professionals interested in being involved in the Knowledge Council online forum or the regular lunch forums.
