1999-2000 Unique World founded on January 25 with 3 full time staff focused on Microsoft web development. By the end of the following year there are 42 people living in a fancy new home in East Sydney.

2000-2004 Microsoft release a new generation of information management products (including SharePoint Portal Server). The IT market is invigorated by Microsoft’s efforts and Unique World continues to prosper. Unique World opens a Canberra office and launches its first software product.
Unique World forms key relationships with Kellogg’s, Coca-Cola and Wattyl, Nestle, AGL, Department of Employment and Workplace Relations
2005-2006 Unique World experiences tremendous growth and development for the services business. Staff levels approach 65 and a new organisational model is developed focusing on Microsoft information management product specialisation. Unique World opens a Melbourne office.
Unique World forms key relationships with Department of Transport and Regional Services, Stockland Group, Victoria Police, Melbourne Airports, Komatsu, Department of Family and Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
2007-2008 Unique World launches RecordPoint and Microsoft releases SharePoint 2007, altering the information management solutions market place. Unique World approaches 100 people and is at the forefront of market change, refining its information management solutions focus and delivery methodology to leverage its leadership in delivering Microsoft platform business solutions to improve Compliance & Governance, Knowledge & Collaboration, and Customer Care.
Unique World forms key relationships with Lend Lease, Babcock & Brown, Goodman, Tower Insurance, BT Financial Group, and The NRMA.
2008-2010 Unique World launches the Business Consulting team to supplement its leading technology capability. The Business Consulting team specializes in delivering Information and Knowledge Management Strategies. The Business Consulting team leads our clients in how to drive corporate wide cultural change programs that, when combined with the enabling technology platforms can lead to dramatic enterprise wide productivity improvements.

December 2011 Unique World is a acquired by Jacobs Engineering , one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of technical, professional, and construction services. The acquisition allows Jacobs to expand its capabilities in Australia to include IT services, and enables Unique World to expand its resource base and broaded its capabilities.
